Microneedling Rejuvapen

PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

To ensure the best results from your Microneedling Rejuvapen treatment, please follow these pre-treatment guidelines:

  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 1-2 weeks prior to your treatment to minimize the risk of pigmentation issues.

  • Avoid Filler or Neurotoxin at least 2 weeks prior to your treatment to risk migration and tissue changes.

  • Discontinue the use of any active skincare products (such as retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, or exfoliating products) for 5-7 days before your appointment to avoid skin irritation.

  • Avoid waxing or plucking the treatment area for at least 1-2 weeks before the procedure. Shaving is acceptable.

  • Do not have any other facial treatments (like chemical peels, laser treatments, or microdermabrasion) 1-2 weeks before your microneedling session.

  • Arrive with clean skin—no makeup, lotions, or sunscreen on the treatment area.

  • Hydrate well by drinking plenty of water before your treatment to help your skin recover more effectively.

  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have active skin conditions (such as eczema or psoriasis), please inform your provider before undergoing the treatment.

POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

After your Microneedling Rejuvapen treatment, follow these aftercare instructions to ensure optimal healing and results:

  • Avoid sun exposure for at least 1-2 weeks after treatment. Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30+ or higher daily to protect the treated area.

  • Do not apply makeup for 24-48 hours post-treatment to allow the skin to heal.

  • Avoid harsh skincare products (such as AHAs, BHAs, retinoids, or exfoliants) for 5-7 days after the treatment.

  • Avoid hot showers, saunas, and excessive sweating for 48 hours after your session to minimize irritation and inflammation.

  • Avoid touching or picking the treated area to prevent infection or irritation.

  • Mild redness and swelling are normal and should subside within 24-48 hours.

  • Apply a soothing, hydrating moisturizer and gentle skincare as recommended by your provider to keep your skin hydrated and promote healing.

  • You may experience some flaking or peeling as your skin regenerates. This is normal and can last for 3-5 days.

  • Stay hydrated and continue to follow a gentle skincare routine to support the healing process.

  • Continue with your treatment plan as recommended by your provider to achieve the best results.

Note: Microneedling helps stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture, tone, and elasticity. Full results typically appear within 4-6 weeks, as your skin continues to regenerate. A series of treatments may be recommended for optimal outcomes. Maintenance therapies are also recommended depending on environmental factors and consultations from your provider.
