Microneedling Rejuvapen
PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
To ensure the best results from your Microneedling Rejuvapen treatment, please follow these pre-treatment guidelines:
Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 1-2 weeks prior to your treatment to minimize the risk of pigmentation issues.
Avoid Filler or Neurotoxin at least 2 weeks prior to your treatment to risk migration and tissue changes.
Discontinue the use of any active skincare products (such as retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, or exfoliating products) for 5-7 days before your appointment to avoid skin irritation.
Avoid waxing or plucking the treatment area for at least 1-2 weeks before the procedure. Shaving is acceptable.
Do not have any other facial treatments (like chemical peels, laser treatments, or microdermabrasion) 1-2 weeks before your microneedling session.
Arrive with clean skin—no makeup, lotions, or sunscreen on the treatment area.
Hydrate well by drinking plenty of water before your treatment to help your skin recover more effectively.
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have active skin conditions (such as eczema or psoriasis), please inform your provider before undergoing the treatment.
POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
After your Microneedling Rejuvapen treatment, follow these aftercare instructions to ensure optimal healing and results:
Avoid sun exposure for at least 1-2 weeks after treatment. Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30+ or higher daily to protect the treated area.
Do not apply makeup for 24-48 hours post-treatment to allow the skin to heal.
Avoid harsh skincare products (such as AHAs, BHAs, retinoids, or exfoliants) for 5-7 days after the treatment.
Avoid hot showers, saunas, and excessive sweating for 48 hours after your session to minimize irritation and inflammation.
Avoid touching or picking the treated area to prevent infection or irritation.
Mild redness and swelling are normal and should subside within 24-48 hours.
Apply a soothing, hydrating moisturizer and gentle skincare as recommended by your provider to keep your skin hydrated and promote healing.
You may experience some flaking or peeling as your skin regenerates. This is normal and can last for 3-5 days.
Stay hydrated and continue to follow a gentle skincare routine to support the healing process.
Continue with your treatment plan as recommended by your provider to achieve the best results.
Note: Microneedling helps stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture, tone, and elasticity. Full results typically appear within 4-6 weeks, as your skin continues to regenerate. A series of treatments may be recommended for optimal outcomes. Maintenance therapies are also recommended depending on environmental factors and consultations from your provider.
