IM Injections
(B6, B12 & NAD)
PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
To ensure a smooth and effective treatment, please follow these guidelines before your IM injections (B6, B12 & NAD):
Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment.
Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or fish oil) for at least 24 hours before your injection to minimize the risk of bruising.
Eat a light meal before your appointment to prevent lightheadedness or dizziness during the injection.
Inform us of any allergies or sensitivities, particularly to medications or injectables, before receiving the injection.
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have any chronic health conditions (such as kidney or liver disease), please inform your provider beforehand.
POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
After receiving your IM injections, follow these aftercare instructions to ensure the best results and avoid complications:
Do not massage or rub the injection site immediately after treatment to avoid irritation or displacement of the medication.
Avoid excessive physical activity or strenuous exercise for at least 24 hours after the injection.
Do not lie down immediately after the injection to prevent dizziness or discomfort.
Mild redness, swelling, or tenderness at the injection site is normal and should subside within 24-48 hours.
Keep the injection site clean to avoid infection. If you experience swelling or pain at the injection site, apply a cold compress to alleviate discomfort.
Stay hydrated and maintain a balanced diet to help maximize the effects of the injections.
Follow up as recommended for additional injections based on your treatment plan and desired results.
